What is Golfer Bank?
A world first new Rewards Points Currency, where golfers can purchase points from the bank and then use those points to win more points, in exciting and fun ways playing golf. Every player can sell their points back to the bank for $0.10 a point.
Every golfer that registers MUST nominate a “charity” or “cause” they want to see benefit. When golfers win points, so does their nominated charity. Ten percent of what they win is held aside for the charity at the end of the season.
How do I build up my points balance?
GOLF TEAM
Get placed in a team of 4 players, randomly twice a month. Each entry costs 35 points. No team will ever repeat. Each player within the team enters their best Stableford Score from a registered tournament or club competition for either the first half of the month or the second half of the month, depending on when the player entered. All team individual scores are added together to give a team score. When a team's score beats the field outright, (meaning there are no ties for 1st place), then that team wins the entire pot of points. The pot of points will continue to grow every fortnight if it is not won.
If any team members don't register a score for any reason then that players score contribution to the team is zero points. All scores registered are checked and verified and any false scores will see players banned from using Golfer Bank. All players within a team can chat with each other. They might also like to challenge each other one on one.
TEE TIME
Golfer Bank has hidden up to 500 points behind 1 in 12 tee times across Australia. Each entry costs 35 points. Before you play golf, enter your next booked tee time for either a golf simulator or on course play to be given four opportunities to win some points. You will be locked out of checking future tee times until after your current tee time has passed. When you win, the points are automatically transferred to your account.
TARGET SCORES
Choose a Stableford score you think you can equal or beat in a tournament or club competition and win up to 5,000 points. Each entry costs 35 points. There are no other players to beat in order to win. The score must be achieved in an official tournament or club competition and you will be asked to enter the score you achieved and provide a screen shot of the results of the competition. Once your score has been verified as valid and true by Golfer Bank then we will transfer the points into your account.
We always reserve the right to deny a claim if we feel approving a win might harm Golfer Bank and it's golfer community. We will exclude any players who have “reputations” for not playing by the rules of golf. If you have information on players who do not play by the rules of golf, we offer point rewards for that information. Players nominated by other players as “questionable” anonymously, will be excluded from Golfer Bank.
CHALLENGES
Challenge any other Golfer Bank member for a maximum number of points by going to the LEADER BOARD. For example if you have 2,000 points in your account and the player you want to challenge has 1,500 points in their account, then the maximum number of points you can challenge for is the lower amount of 1,500 points.
To send a challenge choose the date of the challenge and then write some terms and conditions of the challenge and send it. When the player receives your challenge offer they may edit any part of the challenge and send it back, and this can continue until you both agree to the Terms and Conditions. You must both also agree on who won the challenge after the date, and the points are then transferred automatically.
If players cannot agree on who won then we will settle all disputes and our choice on who won is final. We post the biggest challenges and the most unusual challenges on the site. We can't wait to see the weird and wonderful challenges players create.
How do I win monthly Prize and Point Draws?
Every time you use Golf Team, Challenges, Tee Time or Target Scores, you get one free entry into the open monthly points draw and prize draw automatically. The points draw builds up every day until the end of the month and players are then drawn randomly as winners on the last day of each month. The first player name drawn will win 10% of the total in the pot which will then lower the pot total. The second player name drawn will then win 10% of the new pot total and so on until the entire pot total has been distributed.
The prize draw is a sponsored draw and different prizes will be offered each month with one winner per draw.
What is the Leader Board?
The Leader Board shows players who have raised the most amount of funds for their nominated charity in order down the page, it does not reflect how much a player has in their account personally. The top 20 players at the end of the season will be invited to a special event. We hold a lot of value in raising funds for causes and charities and each player has that opportunity. The Leader Board is where you CHALLENGE players.
Can I sell my points?
Any player can sell their points back to the bank for $0.10 a point. There's a minimum of 100 points. When you sell your points we will transfer funds to your bank account.
Any sponsor of Golfer Bank can increase the value of a point to encourage players to spend points with them. For example sponsor (x) might value a point at $0.50 a point and invite players to spend their points with sponsor (x) during the month of June. If your business would like to be a sponsor please connect with us. You can be local, national or international. If your course would like to transfer all rewards points onto the Golfer Bank platform then please connect with us to see the huge advantages our platform has for your members.
The cost of participation?
Golf Team, Tee Time and Target Scores cost 35 points to enter. The break down of what happens to those points is as follows:
What about players who don't play by the rules of golf?
This platform is by invite only. A player must have been introduced by another member. Let us know how you think people can cheat the system to win points that should have gone to you. We will exclude any players who have “reputations” for not playing by the rules of golf and the player who introduced them too! If you have information on players who do not play by the rules of golf, we offer point rewards for that information. Players nominated by other players as “questionable” will be excluded from Golfer Bank without hesitation.
